When is the best time to start reading holiday romance?

This depends on the reader. Are you someone who can’t wait to dive into a new season? Maybe you don’t like the heat of summer, and a fall story getaway is the escape you’re looking for. Then again, maybe you prefer to wait until the moment you see the leaves begin to fall from the trees before you start diving into seasonal romance.

The timing is up to you. Most publishers have market standards that begin to release Christmas stories sometime in October and November. While others wait until December. I prefer October. I love to read as much as I can and the sooner I can get my hands on those holiday romances the better.

Regardless of your preferences, you’re sure to find a story that is perfect for you. Some autumn romances are available as early as mid-summer and continue through October. Overlap of holiday stories should be expected. Some authors like me, prefer to see those Christmas stories pop up on bookshelves in October and November. We take a publishing break in December and kick it up again in January and February. Preference works for publishers and readers.

In October, I will release my Taste of Delicious Collection, five sweet and savory short stories that are perfect for all ages and include two holiday favorites. Be on the lookout for October 1st for this collection on Amazon. The release includes Cinnamon Rolls and Coffee, Pizza and Popsicles, Hot Cocoa and Candy Canes, Christmas Cookies and Cappuccino, and Chocolate Milk and Cake.

A Pumpkin for Autumn is currently available on Amazon. https://a.co/d/d1ZXPIr
